Before joining Succession Capital Partners in 2016, Mr. Frey was the Chief Financial Officer, Alchemy Global Holdings, a boutique investment bank based in Charleston, South Carolina focused on the sports and entertainment industries.

Prior to joining Alchemy Global Holdings, Mr. Frey spent five years as a Managing Director at Winston Partners, a private equity firm in the Washington, DC area owned by Marvin Bush. While at Winston, was responsible for six portfolio companies, chairman of three, and Interim CEO of one company.

Prior to joining Winston, Mr. Frey was a Vice President, J.P. Morgan & Company, in Manhattan in the Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory Group. Prior to that Mr. Frey was an Associate, Irving Trust Company, in Manhattan.

Mr. Frey graduated from University of Virginia’s Darden School with a MBA and also holds a BA from the University of Virginia.

Mr. Frey resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He enjoys fly-fishing in Montana and Wyoming.

Since 1995, Frey has published 22 novels. The latest, JURY TOWN, was published by Thomas & Mercer in September 2015. He is also author of the RED CELL SEVEN Series (ARCTIC FIRE, RED CELL SEVEN, KODIAK SKY), published by Thomas & Mercer in 2012, 2013 and 2014. His next novel will be published in 2017. Frey has been published by Penguin Putnam, Random House, Simon & Schuster and Thomas & Mercer.
